Wii Links

The Wii is the latest console made by Nintendo (unless you want to count the Nintendo DSi) and was released November 19, 2007. The Wii has motion sensor and the remotes control that. You can turn the Wii on from the Wii remote by pressing the power button on the remote. You can create Mii's and share them online. There are wi-fi compatabilities with Nintendo wi-fi. You can also have a wired connection if you don't have a wi-fi adapter for home. You can download old games from the NES and other systems. There are channels where you can select the game or the Mii channel. There is Wii speak for Animal Crossing City Folk on wi-fi talking to your friends. There should be a Wii Speak channel to just talk to your friends but I haven't checked in a while.

This is a Wii.

The Wii remotes come with the Wii console. Now, they come with a grip so you don't launch the remote through your TV screen.

The Nintendo Wii's Nunchuck attachment for the Wii remote

The Classic Control for the Wii remote can be attached just like the Nunchuck. You can use it to play Virtual Console games and maybe some Wii games. It cannot be used to play GameCube games.

This is the Wii Zapper. It is used for shooting games such as Call of Duty World at War and other shooter games. It comes with a game, Links Crossbow Training.

This is the Wii SD card. It can be attached under the flap where the sync. button is. You can use any standard SD card, but Nintendo makes their own.
