Kyle Hyde
Kyle Hyde A sarcastic and abrasive former detective in the New York Police Department and the story's central character. In 1976, he shot his former partner, Brian Bradley, after Bradley double-crossed the police during an investigation into a ring of art thieves. He now works for Red Crown, a door-to-door sales company based in Los Angeles and headed by old family friend Ed Vincent. In addition to his duties as a salesman, Kyle assists Ed's side-business of locating lost items that the clients don't want found by inappropriate people.
